Le Jackpot

This was the perfect house for a three generation getaway. We appreciated the king beds in every room and the kids loved the bunks. Great location right between Boone and Blowing rock. The game room made our cold evenings super fun…who knew shuffleboard was missing from my life? We had a pipe freeze while we were there and Kevin and his team were super attentive, kept us informed, and fixed the problem immediately. We travel a lot and this was without a doubt one of the best houses we have stayed in for a large group. I initially hesitated going through a rental company with which I was not familiar, but they were excellent. We hope to be back in the future!

Lovely location nestled in amongst trees - all minutes away from Boone, Blowing Rock and trails. There was plenty of space for us eight adults. All of us mentioned how it could also be perfect for a family. All of us highly recommend The Jackpot. It’s an ideal get away in the mountains.

Great place

This is definitely a 5 star property. We stayed in mid July - when the rest of the country was experiencing extreme heat we enjoyed the 75 degree temperatures. There were 6 of us - ranging in age from 12 to 76 - plus 2 dogs. The location was perfect - with short drives to many activities, restaurants and shopping in Boone and Blowing Rock. The property was very clean, with room for everyone. The media room was a big hit. We grilled several times and had dinner on one of the 3 decks and saw deer in the woods every day. For those with dogs, I would recommend a walk around bass lake - this became a daily event for us. I would also recommend the Watauga Rec Center. Kevin, the property manager, was excellent - quickly responding to a few questions we had. Bottom line - we will be back!
